The Church & Culture blog usually has wonderfully written, thoughtful posts. This one, forwarded to me by someone else, really caught my eye. It is discouraging to hear of so much dissension and frustrating not to know how to help people understand their role in on-going disputes. When the church is supposed to be the light to the world in self-sacrificial, you-before-me love why do we seem to be showing the world how hating is done “well”?  Check out Advice for the Hated over at the Church & Culture blog.

What can you and I do, as individuals, to help return our national dialogue to civility? How do we guard our own tongues (and blogs/Facebooks?) from the type of comments that will tear someone else down?
